NBA regular season: 1 billion views on social media in the EME, including 700 million in Europe

The National Basketball Association registered more than one billion video views on its social networks and regional accounts during the 2023-24 regular season in the EME region, including 700 million in Europe alone, announced the North American league on 22/04/2024.

The NBA's 18 regional accounts in the EME region recorded a 100% increase in the number of views compared to the 2022-23 regular season. The number of followers on the league's various social networks in Europe has also increased by more than 50% compared to the previous season.

France's Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs) is the third most viewed player on NBA social networks in 2023-24 worldwide with 1.3 billion views. Three other European players feature in the Top 10: Slovenia's Luka Dončić (Dallas Mavericks, 1.2bn views, 4^th), Serbia's Nikola Jokić (Denver Nuggets, 618m views, 6^th) and Greece's Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks, 558m views, 8^th).
