Ligue 1 Uber Eats: 9/20 clubs posted a positive net result in 2022-23 (DNCG report)

Nine out of 20 Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs and eight out of 20 Ligue 2 BKT clubs, posted a positive net result for the 2022-23 financial year, according to the DNCG report published by the LFP on 25/04/2024, which presents the individual accounts of France's 40 professional clubs. At the end of the 2021-22 season, nine Ligue 1 clubs had posted a net profit, and 12 in Ligue 2.

LOSC Lille posted the highest net profit (+€29.9m), thanks in particular to its performance on the transfer market (transfer income: +€72.7m). Conversely, Paris Saint-Germain, 2022-23 French champions, posted the most unbalanced result, with a net loss of €109.8m despite revenues of €807.3m, mainly due to a wage bill of over €621m.

In the Ligue 2 BKT, the range of net results extends from FC Girondins de Bordeaux (profit of €19.2m) to Dijon FCO (deficit of €7.2m), relegated to National 1 at the end of the 2022-23 season.
