FIFA: Aramco (oil, Saudi Arabia) "major worldwide partner" for the 2024-2027 cycle

Saudi Aramco (Arabian American Oil Company), the Saudi national oil and gas company, has become a "major worldwide partner" of FIFA for the 2024-2027 cycle (four years), announced the two entities on 25/04/2024.

Aramco joins adidas (equipment manufacturer), The Coca-Cola Company (American beverage manufacturer), Visa (American group specialised in payment solutions), Qatar Airways (airline), Hyundai and Kia (South Korean car manufacturers, Hyundai Motor Group) among FIFA's partner.

The partnership will cover "multiple events", including the men's 2026 World Cup and the women's World Cup 2027. "The agreement, builds on a shared commitment to innovation and development, and will combine football's unique global reach with Aramco’s history of championing innovation and community engagement. Through the partnership Aramco and FIFA intend to leverage the power of football to create impactful social initiatives around the world," said the Saudi company and the international body.
