Agencies: Dan Levy appointed CEO of Legends (venue management, merchandising, e-commerce)

Dan Levy has been appointed CEO of Legends, announced the American agency specialised in providing "global solutions" for sports and entertainment organisations and venues on 23/04/2024. Dan Levy, who has been interim CEO of Legends since March 2023, succeeds Shervin Mirhashemi, who has held the post since 2017, and has become vice-chair of the company.

Prior to this, Dan Levy was vice-president and product group lead at Meta, responsible for professional messaging (2022-2023) and the ads and monetisation (2018-2022). He previously worked at Facebook, a Meta subsidiary, as vice-president (2012-2018), as director of finance (2011-2012) and director of payments and risk operations (2008-2011). Levy also held a number of management positions at PayPal (2001-2008).

Founded in 2008, Legends provides sales, ticketing, hospitality, partnership, merchandising and e-commerce services. Its clients include Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports), Arsenal FC (Premier League), Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), Wimbledon (Grand Slam, tennis) and the Rugby Football Union (England).
