LALIGA: a 7-part video series on how data is used by the Mediacoach tool

LALIGA, as part of its Beyond Stats project developed with Microsoft (IT), is producing a video series of seven episodes "highlighting how club technical staff across the league use and apply Mediacoach performance metrics to prepare their team best every day," announced the Spanish body on 25/04/2024.

Mediacoach is a real-time match data platform that generates advanced statistics for use by coaches and broadcasters. The Beyond Stats project, an advanced statistics portal created by LALIGA with Microsoft, publishes pre-match reports analysing the main data from both teams, obtained using Mediacoach and Microsoft Azure AI technology.

"How does the data help fitness coaches optimise performance and prevent injuries? How does it help coaches make substitution decisions during matches? How does it help analysts prepare comprehensive opponent reports to devise effective game tactics?
