UEFA Champions League: semi-finalists to receive a minimum of €85.9m-€101.5m (excluding market pool)

The four clubs that have qualified for the semi-finals of the 2023-24 Champions League, which kick off on Tuesday 30/04/2024, will each receive a minimum of €85m from UEFA for their participation in the competition. This amount does not include the €300.3m divided between the 32 clubs in the group stage according to the size of each country's television market ("market pool"), nor, of course, the matchday revenues generated by the fixtures.

While Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) will receive €85.9m in the event of elimination against Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) is already guaranteed €101.5m (see table below).

UEFA is paying €2.002bn to the 32 clubs that took part in the group stage. Of this total, 25% (participation bonuses), or €500.5m, is divided equally between the 32 participants.
The differences in amounts between clubs can be explained by several variables:
• 1 - Fixed performance-based amounts: 30% (€600.6m broken down according to sporting results).
