Qatar 2022: the Council of Europe calls on FIFA to conduct a new vote

"FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) cannot evade the obligation to hold a new vote," said the Council of Europe, concerning the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, in a report from the Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly published on 27/01/2015.

The report and the accompanying resolution will be submitted to the plenary session of PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe), from 20 to 24/04/2015. A resolution from the meeting, which brings together over 300 parliamentarians from the 47 member states of the Council of Europe, has no binding force.
