FC Bayern Munich: Allianz sleeve sponsor for 2024-25 with a QR code displayed on the home shirt

Allianz, a German insurance company, is stepping up its partnership with FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and has become a sleeve sponsor for the 2024-25 season, announced the German club on 06/05/2024.

The German brand, which has been a partner of Bayern since 2000, has lent its name to the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) since its inauguration in 2005 and has been the main shirt sponsor of the women's team (Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga) since 2013 (see below).

"The jersey sleeve will be adorned with the logo of long-standing partner Allianz. For the first time in the history of a club in the Bundesliga and Champions League, the badge is a combination of a club crest and a QR code, which FC Bayern fans can use to access exclusive promotions on an ongoing basis. With this innovative QR code campaign, Allianz aims to intensify dialogue with digitally savvy, younger target groups in the global fan community," explained the Bavarian club.
