UEFA appoints the organisers of 11 events, including the Euro 2017 to Poland

Poland has been designated the organsing country for the final tournament of the 2017 U-21 European Championship, by the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Executive Committee at its first meeting of the year on 26/01/2015.

During this meeting, chaired by UEFA president Michel Platini, the organisers of 10 other tournaments scheduled between 2015 and 2018 were also appointed.

• The finals of 2017 Euro U-21 will be contested by 12 teams.
  
  • There will be, as in all previous editions, 8 participants in the finals of the 2015 edition (Czech Republic, from 17 to 30/01/2015).
• The draw for the qualifying stage of the 2017 edition will be held on 05/02/2015.
