Paris 2024: official musical theme unveiled with the arrival of the Flame in Marseille on 08/05/2024

"Parade", the official musical theme of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, composed by Victor le Masne, musical director for the four ceremonies (opening and closing ceremonies) of the Olympic Games, was unveiled at the ceremony to welcome the Olympic Flame to Marseille on 08/05/2024.

"This musical theme was recorded with the Orchestre National de France and the Chœur et Maitrise de Radio France. Exceptionally, it was played live by the Marseille orchestra from the Palais du Pharo marking the start of the Games celebrations in France," said Paris 2024.

The theme "will resonate with all the emotions of sport in a rousing melody that will accompany all the highlights of the Games, from the arrival of the Olympic Flame in Marseille, through each stage of the relay, to the competition venues. This official musical theme will be available in a range of versions, with tones and rhythms that will change to suit the occasion," said the  Organising Committee.
