FIFA Women's World Cup 2027: evaluation report on the 2 bids published, Brazil's bid rated higher

FIFA has published a Bid Evaluation Report on the bids to host and organise the Women's World Cup 2027, which follows the International Federation's inspection visits to the various candidate countries on 07/05/2024.

According to FIFA, "based on the findings of the report approved by the Bid Evaluation Task Force, the following two bids have met the minimum hosting requirements:
• Joint bid by the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA), the German Football Association (DFB) and the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB);
• Single bid by the Brazilian Football Association (CBF)."

"Based on the results of the technical evaluation, the Brazil bid received the highest overall average score of 4.0 out of 5, followed by the Belgium, Netherlands, Germany bid with 3.7," states the report.

"In accordance with the voting procedure, both bids will be submitted to the 74^th FIFA Congress that will convene on 17/05/2024 in Bangkok (Thailand) in order for FIFA's 211 member associations to decide on the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 host(s) through an open vote," added FIFA.
