Bundesliga Japan Tour: VfB Stuttgart in Kyoto & Hiroshima from 26/07 to 01/08/2024

VfB Stuttgart will face Kyoto Sanga FC on 28/07 and Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Meiji Yasuda J.League 1) on 01/08/2024 in the third edition of the Bundesliga Japan Tour, announced the DFL on 09/05/2024.

This summer tour has been organised by the Deutsche Fußball Liga in collaboration with SKY PerfecTV!, the exclusive broadcaster of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga in Japan until 2025. The Stuttgart club will arrive on 26/07 and will take part in "a number of fan and partner activations, including open training sessions and media events" before playing their first match at the Sanga Stadium by Kyocera (21,600 capacity), and the second at the Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima Stadium (28,500 capacity).

"VfB Stuttgart currently have three Japanese players on their books. In the last 10 years, VfB Stuttgart, already qualified for the UEFA Champions League next season, have featured seven players from Japan. As a league, the Bundesliga is considered the home for Japanese players in Europe, featuring more Japanese players than any other league in Europe," explained the DFL.
