The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, the sixth of the 2024 season, won by Great Britain's Lando Norris (McLaren Racing), drew an average of 3.1 million viewers, with a peak of 3.6 million on the free-TV channel ABC, owned by the ESPN Group (The Walt Disney Company), in the United States on Sunday 05/05/2024 (race start at 16:00 ET, 10:00 CET), according to data from the American Nielsen Institute released by ESPN on 07/05/2024.

This is the best audience ever for a Formula 1 Grand Prix broadcast in the United States. It was also 48% higher than the 2023 edition, which drew 2.1 million viewers on ABC on Sunday 07/05/2023 (race start at 15:30 ET, 21:30 CET).

The audience for the 2024 edition thus surpassed that of the 2022 Miami Grand Prix (first edition), which until then held the record for an F1 Grand Prix in the United States, with an average of 2.6 million viewers on ABC on Sunday 08/05/2022 (race start at 15:30 ET, 21:30 CET).
