MotoGP: a record attendance of 297,471 for the Michelin Grand Prix de France 2024

The 2024 edition of the Michelin Grand Prix de France set an all-time MotoGP attendance record, bringing together 297,471 spectators over the three days from 10 to 12/05/2024, according to Dorna Sports, the company which holds the commercial rights to MotoGP, on 12/05/2024.

The event, held at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans (Sarthe, FRA), set a new attendance record for the second year running. 278,805 spectators attended the Grand Prix de France in 2023. The previous record of 248,434 spectators dated back to the Czech Grand Prix in 2015.

119,145 spectators attended the race on Sunday 12/05 (compared with 116,692 in 2023), while 86,323 and 92,003 fans respectively watched the free practice on Friday 10/05 and the qualifying and sprint race held on Saturday 11/05/2024. A number of events were organised to coincide with the race weekend, including motorbike and wingsuit demonstrations, concerts and exhibitions.
