United States: ESPN+ (OTT) had 24.8 million subscribers on 30/03/2024 (down 400,000 in three months)

ESPN+, an OTT sports platform launched in the USA on 12/04/2018, had 24.8 million subscribers on 30/03/2024, a drop of 400,000 subscribers since 30/12/2023, according to the quarterly results published by The Walt Disney Company, parent company of the sports pay-TV bouquet ESPN, on 07/05/2024.

The platform is available for a monthly fee of $10.99 (€10.2). Disney+, the group's other OTT platform launched on 12/11/2019, alone had 153.6 million subscribers worldwide at 30/03/2024 (+4 million subscribers since 30/12/2023).

The Walt Disney Company posted revenues of $22.083bn (€20.5bn) in the second quarter of the 2024 financial year, compared with $21.815bn (€20.25bn) over the same period in 2023.
