AS Saint-Étienne: Kilmer Sports Ventures (CAN) in exclusive negotiations to acquire the club

The shareholders of AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 2 BKT) and Kilmer Sports Ventures have entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to the Canadian group acquiring "all of the shares in AS Saint-Étienne Groupe" currently held by Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer, announced the club on 13/05/2024.

"The sale is due to be ratified in the coming weeks, once the obligations to inform and consult the relevant stakeholders and authorities have been completed," said the club, referring in particular to the meeting of the Social and Economic Committee (ESC) convened for consultation on 15/05/2024 - which will then have to give its opinion within a maximum of one month - and the club's forthcoming appearance before the DNCG.

Kilmer Sports Ventures is a Canadian family group owned by billionaire Larry Tanenbaum and headed by Ivan Gazidis, former CEO of Arsenal FC (Premier League) and former president of AC Milan (Serie A TIM).
