2015 Copa America: airlines TAM and LAN become the official carriers

The airline companies TAM and LAN, which both belong to the Chilean Latam Airlines Group, have become the official carriers of the 2015 Copa America, to be held in Chile from 11/06 to 04/07/2015, announced CONMEBOL (the South American football federation) on 26/01/2015.

The two companies will share space on advertising boards during the competition, and will have the right to use the image and the official logo of the Copa America for their marketing campaigns.

2016 Copa America Centenario, a special edition organised in the United States

• The "2016 Copa America Centenario" is a special edition of the Copa America being held to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of CONMEBOL and of the Copa America itself.
• The 10 national teams from CONMEBOL and six from CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football) will compete for the Copa America in the United States, the host country.
• The competition will take place from 03 to 26/06/2016, 17 days of which will overlap with Euro 2016 (France, from 10/06 to 10/07/2016).
