The BBC has announced that it will extend its free-to-air broadcasting rights to the Emirates FA Cup in the UK for four seasons 2025-2029, on 14/05/2024.

The rights, which have been sub-licensed from the pay-TV bouquet TNT Sports, give the BBC the right to co-broadcast (with TNT Sports) 14 games per season: two matches per round up to the quarter-finals, a semi-final and the final. "The deal also provides for the BBC to have highlights and digital clips across its platforms," said the group.

TNT Sports acquired the UK broadcasting rights to the Emirates FA Cup for the 2025-2029 cycle on 15/02/2024. The group "will showcase live matches from the first round, with every game from the third round outside of 3pm kick offs (TV blackout rule prohibiting the broadcast of live matches on Saturdays between 14:45 and 17:15 local time) on display through to the final at Wembley Stadium (London, ENG). TNT Sports will also broadcast the Community Shield and the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and final.
