Euro 2024/L'Équipe: 300 hours of programming on the channel, broadcast on Twitch & dedicated podcast

The French sports media group L'Équipe has presented its editorial strategy for Euro 2024, on 14/05/2024.

L'Équipe will first broadcast 20 matches in preparation for the competition on its channels from 03 to 10/06/2024, representing 40 hours of live coverage. Once the European Championship gets underway, La chaine L'Équipe (free DTT) will dedicate programming to it "seven days a week", with nearly 250 hours of live coverage and 300 hours of programmes in total. The channel will present 17 "Grandes Soirées" (Big Nights) from 16/06 to 06/07/2024 (live commentary without footage for matches broadcast on pay-TV).

The group will have "the largest French contingent outside agencies" in Germany, with 21 accredited staff (journalists and photographers). The newspaper will devote 12 pages per day to the competition, while all 51 matches will be covered by a special correspondent.
