Germany/DFB: Klarna (payment solutions), partner of the men's national team until 2026

Klarna, a Swedish payment solutions provider has become an official (2^nd level) partner of the German men's national team until 2026, announced the Deutscher Fussball Bund on 14/05/2024.

The agreement covers Euro 2024, organised in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024, and the German national team's two test matches against Ukraine (03/06) and Greece (07/06). As part of this partnership, Klarna will benefit from "advertising rights and visibility on billboards at the national team's international matches", according to the German FA. The DFB is also set to renew its agreement with its major partner Volkswagen, according to the specialist press on the same day, after announcing a switch from adidas to Nike for the manufacture of its shirts from 2027 on 21/03/2024.

The DFB welcomed another official partner for its men's team on 21/03/2024: the Chinese social network TikTok, on which it had more than 542,300 subscribers as at 14/05/2024.
