2023-24 Coppa Italia: the final to be broadcast to 180 territories using technological innovations

Atalanta BC (Serie A TIM) - Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), final of the 2023-24 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (ITA), will be broadcast in more than 180 territories and by more than 40 broadcasters, this Wednesday 15/05/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to the Lega Serie A, the competition's organising body, on 14/05/2024.

The match will feature a number of technological innovations, including:
• the installation of 47 cameras for the production of the match, "a record for a match organised in Italy by Lega Serie A";
• the use of the Sony Burano camera with cinematographic images;
• the use of a camera attached to the referee, which "will allow spectators to identify with the referee's point of view during the pre-match, thanks to the use of a high-resolution micro-camera";
• the introduction of the "VAR Message" service, which will enable "instant messages (e.g. "VAR Review") to be sent from the video operations room to the referee's watch";
