LFP: viewing parties in Brazil & Mexico for Olympique de Marseille-Paris Saint-Germain on 31/03/2024

The Ligue de Football Professionnel held two viewing parties in Mexico and Brazil to coincide with the match between Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain (0-2, Matchday 27 of the 2023-24 Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on Sunday 31/03/2024 (kick-off 20:45 CET, 15:45 in Brazil, 12:45 in Mexico), announced the body on 15/05/2024.

The event, organised in Mexico in collaboration with Tigres de Monterrey (Liga BBVA MX), took place at the Estadio Universitario de Monterrey. It was attended by 200 people and generated "nearly 20 million impressions on social networks and almost 5 million engagements," according to the LFP. André-Pierre Gignac, a current Tigres player who has also played for OM and Toulouse FC, was in attendance. "Influencer Marcela 'juegodedoce' Figueroa took part in the day's activities and produced a wealth of content to raise awareness of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and its clubs among her community," added the governing body.

The viewing party in Brazil was the first to be organised by the LFP in the country, in Rio de Janeiro's Leblon square. The event, which was attended by…
