Euro 2024: 5.7 million viewers on TF1 for the presentation of France's 25-man squad

The announcement of the list of 25 players selected by Didier Deschamps, head coach of the French national football team, for Euro 2024, broadcast live and exclusively during the 20:00 news on the French private free-TV channel TF1, drew an average of 5.7 million viewers on Thursday 16/05/2024 (20:27 to 20:42 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

This figure represented an audience share of 29.2%. TF1's news programme drew an average of 5.4 million viewers, which ranked the channel first in the French broadcasting market for this time slot (audience share: 28.7%).

The previous list, announced on TF1 by Didier Deschamps prior to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, drew an average of 7.3 million viewers on Wednesday 09/11/2022. Audience share: 31%.
