Aston Villa FC: adidas to succeed Castore as equipment supplier from 2024-25

The German brand adidas is to become the official equipment supplier of Aston Villa FC (Premier League) as part of a "multi-year partnership" from the 2024-25 season, announced the club on 20/05/2024.

The German equipment manufacturer succeeds the British brand Castore, which signed a contract with the English club for the 2022-2024 cycle for an estimated £3m (€3.5m) per year. The agreement with adidas, who will supply Villa's kit for the first time, is "the biggest technical partnership in the club's history" according to Chris Heck, president of business operations at Aston Villa FC.

The English club will also have a new main shirt sponsor from 2024-25: sports betting operator Betano (Kaizen Gaming Group), which has partnered for two seasons (2024-2026), succeeding another bookmaker, the Maltese brand BK8.
