Women's tennis: after the ATP, the Public Investment Fund (KSA) joins forces with the WTA from 2024

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia has become a global partner (2^nd level) of the Women’s Tennis Association from 2024 as part of a multi-year agreement, announced the WTA on 20/05/2024.

As part of this agreement, the PIF becomes the first ever partner of the "PIF WTA" rankings. The Saudi fund also entered into "a strategic partnership" with the Association of Tennis Professionals on 28/02/2024, and has since been the title sponsor of the men's ranking, the "PIF ATP".

"A part of its commitment to inspire youth, PIF will work with the WTA to expand existing initiatives and develop new opportunities for young players, providing a significant boost to the game’s next generation of stars This partnership aligns with numerous other PIF initiatives that focus on women in sport," explained the WTA.
