French Senate: "No club presidents have read the LFP-CVC agreement" (C. Bouchet)

"A club president said to me: 'What can I do? I'm on the board of directors and Matthieu Pigasse (an investment banker) tells me it's an incredible agreement, Jean-Michel Aulas signs it... so what am I supposed to do? I don't think any club presidents have read the LFP-CVC agreement," said Christophe Bouchet, former president and shareholder of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), during his public hearing before the Senate's fact-finding mission on the involvement of investment funds in French professional football, on 21/05/2024.
