Ligue de Football Professionnel: 107 football shirts auctioned to combat homophobia

As part of its "Let's get rid of homophobia!" campaign run in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT on Friday 17 and Sunday 19/05/2024, the Ligue de Football Professionnel, in partnership with France's 38 professional clubs, has launched an auction of 107 shirts worn by players on the final matchday in the two leagues, announced the LFP on 23/05/2024.

"All proceeds will then be donated to four anti-discrimination associations with which the LFP works throughout the year: Licra, the Fondation pour le Sport Inclusif, Foot Ensemble and Her Game Too," said the League regarding the auction, which will end on 09/06/2024.

"Over the course of a weekend marked by an exceptional campaign deployed in all the stadiums, supported by the total involvement of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT clubs, as well as all those involved in French football (coaches, referees, delegates), broadcasters and journalists, all the shirts worn by the players were emblazoned with an event logo symbolising their commitment to combating homophobia, as well as a brand new competition patch featuring the colours of the…
