UEFA: AXA "global partner" of Women's Euro 2025 & sponsor of the 2,500-strong volunteer programme

French insurer AXA has become a global partner of UEFA Women's Euro 2025, which will be contested by 16 teams in eight Swiss cities from 02 to 27/07/2025, announced UEFA on 24/05/2024. As part of the agreement, AXA will sponsor the competition's programme for 2,500 volunteers.

The insurance company joins adidas (equipment manufacturer), Amazon (e-commerce), Booking.com (hotels, Expedia Group), EA Sports (video games), Euronics (electronics), Grifols (healthcare), Heineken (beer), Hublot (watchmaker), Just Eat Takeaway.com (food delivery service), Lay's (crisps, PepsiCo), PlayStation (video games console) and Visa (payment solutions) as a global partner of Women's Euro 2025.

AXA is strengthening its commitment to football in Switzerland, with the group being the title sponsor of the top division of Swiss women's football organised by the Association suisse de football, the "AXA Women's Super League", from 2020-21.

In football, the French group has also been the "global insurance partner" of Liverpool FC since 2018-19 as part of a deal valued at £20m (€23m) over the 2019-2024 cycle…
