2023-24 Premier League: a record average audience of 546,000 viewers in the USA on NBC Sports

The 2023-24 Premier League matches broadcast in the United States on the channels of the American broadcasting group NBC Sports (a subsidiary of the American media and entertainment conglomerate NBCUniversal) recorded an average audience of 546,000 viewers (+4% compared to the 2022-23 season), according to figures released by NBC Sports on 23/05/2024.

This is the most watched Premier League season in the history of American television. It surpasses the 2015-16 season, when matches drew an average of 541,000 viewers on the group's channels. Six of the top seven audiences for Premier League matches broadcast in the United States were also recorded in 2023-24.

The Spanish-language television group Telemundo (owned by NBCUniversal) posted an average audience of 244,000 viewers on its channels during the 2023-24 Premier League season. This is the most-watched season in Spanish-language since 2014-15 in the United States, and an 11% increase over the 2022-23 season (220,000 viewers).
