Serie A TIM: US investment fund Oaktree acquires 99.6% stake in FC Inter Milan

The American investment fund Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., owner of FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) since 22/05/2024, following the non-repayment of the loan granted by the latter to the club's majority shareholder, the Chinese Suning group (68.55% of the capital), has acquired total control of 99.6% of Inter's capital, according to the club on 23/05/2024.

"Inter has been informed that Great Horizon Sarl (the Luxembourg-registered entity through which the Suning group controlled the Italian club) has also acquired control and ownership of LionRock Zuqiu Limited, a company that indirectly holds 31.05% of Inter's shares through its subsidiary International SportsCapital S.p.A.." Oaktree, which granted a €275m loan to Great Horizon Sarl on 20/05/2021, has thus acquired indirect control of 99.6% of Inter's share capital.
