UEFA / 2023-24 Women's Champions League: FC Barcelona crowned champions of Europe for the 3^rd time

FC Barcelona Femení (Liga F) won the 2023-24 UEFA Women's Champions League by defeating Olympique Lyonnais (D1 Arkema) 2-0, at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao (ESP), on Saturday 25/05/2024.

The Catalan side, also the 2023-24 Liga F champions, won the competition for the second year in a row after their 3-2 victory over VfL Wolfsburg Frauen (Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga) in the 2022-23 final. This is their third title in the competition, following a first in 2020-21.

Thanks to their victory in the final, the Barcelona club's women's team will receive a €1.37m payment from UEFA for their performance in the competition. FC Barcelona are now among the top three clubs to have won the competition the most times. Ahead of them are 1.FFC Frankfurt, who merged with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in June 2020 and have won the competition four times, and Olympique Lyonnais, with eight titles.
