Football Benchmark 2024: a record valuation of €59.1bn for the 32 major European clubs

After rising by 40% (+€14.4bn) in 2023, the aggregate valuation of Europe's 32 leading football clubs is set to rise by a further 14% (+€7.4bn) to a record €59.1bn in 2024 (up from €51.7bn in 2023), according to the 9^th edition of "The European Elite" report published by Football Benchmark, a football-dedicated business intelligence platform from the Hungarian consultancy Ace Advisory, on 30/05/2024.

First in the report from 2016 to 2022 and runner-up in 2023, Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) take back the lead in 2024 with a valuation of €5.097bn (+27%). The Madrid club is ahead of two Premier League sides: Manchester City FC, 2^nd (1^st in 2023) with a €4.93bn valuation, and Manchester United FC, 3^rd (€4.86bn). For the first time, all top 10 clubs have a valuation of over €3bn.

Of the 32 clubs surveyed, AC Milan (Serie A TIM, 14^th, €1.43bn) posted the biggest percentage growth (+35.5%).
