2023-24 Champions League: Real Madrid crowned champions of Europe for the 15^th time

Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) won the 2023-24 Champions League after beating Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) 2-0 in the final at Wembley (London, ENG) on Saturday 01/06/2024.

This is the Madrid club's 15^th victory in the competition and the fifth in the last nine editions. No other club has been crowned champions of Europe so many times since the competition was created in 1955 (first called the "European Champion Clubs' Cup", then the Champions League from 1992).

Also the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports champions (for the 36^th time), Real Madrid will compete in the 2024-25 Champions League - in an all-new format that will start with a 36-team league - alongside three other Spanish clubs: FC Barcelona, Club Atlético de Madrid and Girona FC.

Real will receive a total of €121.5m from UEFA for their European campaign up to the final victory (excluding market pool), to which €3.5m will be added for their qualification for the UEFA Super Cup - against Atalanta BC (Serie A TIM) - which will take place on 14/08/2024 at the National Stadium in Warsaw (Poland).
