Everton FC: "all options" to be assessed following expiry of the sale agreement to 777 Partners

The agreement between the American investment fund 777 Partners and Blue Heaven Holdings Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man with a 94.1% stake in Everton FC (Premier League) and owned by the Iranian-British businessman Farhad Moshiri, for the sale of the club "expired today," announced the club on 01/06/2024.

"The club will continue to operate as usual, while it works with Blue Heaven Holdings to assess all options for the club’s future ownership," said Everton. The deal with 777 Partners, announced in September 2023 and originally expected to be finalised in the final quarter of 2023, had been postponed pending the fund's repayment of the club's £160m (€185m) debt to the American investment fund MSP Capital and businessmen Andy Bell and George Downing.
