AS Saint-Étienne: Kilmer Sports Ventures (CAN) becomes sole owner, Ivan Gazidis appointed chairman

Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer, shareholders of AS Saint-Étienne (promoted to Ligue 1 in 2024-25), have sold all their shares to the Canadian group Kilmer Sports Ventures, which will become the club's sole owner, announced ASSE on 03/06/2024. Both parties had announced that they were entering into exclusive negotiations on 13/05/2024.

Kilmer Sports Ventures is a Canadian family group owned by billionaire Larry Tanenbaum and headed by Ivan Gazidis, former CEO of Arsenal FC (Premier League) and former president of AC Milan (Serie A TIM). The South African-born Greek will take on the role of president at AS Saint-Étienne and will be "assisted by Huss Fahmy and Jaeson Rosenfeld, executive vice-presidents in charge of football at Kilmer Sports," who also had spells at Arsenal.
