Ligue 1 Uber Eats: average of 27,113 spectators/game (+14%) & stadium fill rate of 84.3% in 2023-24

The 18 Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs posted an average of 27,113 spectators per match during the 2023-24 season, up 14% compared to the 2022-23 season (23,810 spectators per game). This is the highest ever average attendance in the French league, as announced by the LFP on 31/05/2024.

The French top flight thus welcomed a total of 8.26 million spectators, a figure down on the 2022-23 season (9.05 million) due to the transition from 20 to 18 clubs in 2023-24, which saw the number of matches played reduced from 380 to 306. Despite a significant increase in average attendance, Ligue 1 still ranks bottom among the European Top 5 leagues in terms of attendance, just behind LALIGA EA Sports (29,086 spectators on average per game).

With 60,799 spectators per match at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity), Olympique de Marseille was the Ligue 1 club that posted the best attendance in 2023-24, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (47,373 spectators) and Olympique Lyonnais (45,379).
