Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Alibaba Cloud & OBS to use an AI-enhanced multi-camera replay service"

Alibaba Cloud, a Chinese company specialised in cloud and digital technology, has activated its partnership with the IOC and will be using its "AI-enhanced multi-camera replay service" during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, announced the subsidiary of Alibaba Group (a Chinese group specialised in e-commerce) on 04/06/2024.

This innovation, used in collaboration with Olympic Broadcasting Services (the IOC subsidiary in charge of producing TV images for the Games), will be deployed at 12 Olympic competition venues "for events such as beach volleyball, tennis, judo and rugby," said Alibaba Cloud. Alibaba has been a Top Partner of the IOC since 2017 and until 2028.

"The cloud-based multi-camera replay system introduces an innovative way to view the Olympic Games from multiple angles.
