Premier League: Liverpool FC becomes the 1^st English club to reach 10 million subscribers on YouTube

Liverpool FC has become the first Premier League club to reach the 10 million subscriber mark on the YouTube video platform, announced the Merseyside club on 31/05/2024.

"The channel services a growing global community of Liverpool fans who tune in weekly to view original creative content, including both men's and women's match highlights, and the hugely popular exclusive behind-the-scenes access from Inside Anfield and Inside Training. This year saw the launch of multi-language audio on the channel, with much of the core content now being available with Spanish-language audio, as well as curated subtitles in multiple languages," said the club.

The most-watched video on the club's channel, the players' reaction to their scores in the FIFA 2020 video game (EA Sports), generated 46 million views. The channel, launched in 2005, had a total of 2.7 billion views on 31/05/2024.

By way of comparison, Chelsea FC's YouTube channel has 5.1 million subscribers, Arsenal FC's 4 million, Manchester United FC's 9 million and Manchester City FC's 7.4 million.
