UEFA: Mastercard (payment) renews as a partner of the Champions League for the 2024-2027 cycle

The American payment solutions group Mastercard has renewed its partnership with the UEFA Champions League for a further three seasons, from 2024-2027, announced UEFA on 05/06/2024. The agreement also covers the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions of the UEFA Super Cup.

A partner of the Champions League since the 1994-95 season, the group continues to benefit from the status of official sponsor, i.e. the first level in the competition's sponsorship hierarchy. As part of the renewed agreement, Mastercard has also extended its collaboration with the UEFA Children's Foundation and "will continue to offer children the opportunity to become player mascots."

Three other brands have renewed their partnerships with the competition (which had 8 sponsors over the 2021-2024 cycle) over the next rights cycle:
• the food and beverage group PepsiCo (USA), on 21/06/2023;
• the beer brand Heineken (USA), on 19/09/2023;
• the food delivery company Just Eat Takeaway.com (NED), on 12/02/2024.
