2015 Super Bowl: TV channel NBC announces all advertising has been sold, €4m per 30-second spot

All advertising for the 2015 Super Bowl, the final game of the NFL 2014-15 NFL (National Football League, USA, American football) season, has been sold, stated the American private free-TV channel NBC, which will broadcast the event, on 28/01/2015.

This average cost for a 30-second advertising spot was $4.5m (about €4m) in 2015, this is $500,000 (€442,435) more expensive than in 2014, when the private free-TV channel of Fox broadcasted the event.

  • The 2014 Super Bowl attracted a record audience of 111.5 million viewers.

The 2015 Super Bowl

  • The Super Bowl is the final play-off game culminating the NFL season between the two winners of the Eastern and Western conferences for the title of NFL champion.
