Serie A TIM: an average attendance of 30,685 (+4.4%) & average fill rate of 81.1% in 2023-24

The 20 Serie A TIM clubs posted an average of 30,685 spectators per match during the 2023-24 season, up 4.4% on the 2022-23 season (29,386 spectators). The Italian top flight welcomed a total of 11.66 million spectators, compared with 11.16 million the previous season. This total puts the Serie A third among the European Top 5 leagues in terms of attendance, ahead of LALIGA EA Sports (4^th, average attendance 29,086) but well behind the Bundesliga (39,502), which tops the table.

With 72,849 spectators per game at the San Siro (78,328 capacity), Italian champions FC Inter Milan were the club with the highest attendance in the Serie A TIM in 2023-24, ahead of AC Milan (72,008 spectators at the same stadium) and AS Roma (62,971). Inter are fourth among the clubs participating in the European Top 5 in terms of attendance, just behind Manchester United FC (Premier League, 73,529) in third place. The top two places are occupied by two Bundesliga clubs: Borussia Dortmund (average attendance: 81,305) and FC Bayern Munich (75,000).
