UEFA: beIN SPORTS France acquires TV rights to Euro 2024 & Euro 2028 in their entirety

beIN SPORTS France has acquired the rights to broadcast Euro 2024 and Euro 2028 in their entirety, announced the pay-TV group on 07/06/2024, one week before the opening match of the 2024 edition. The group has acquired the TV rights to the 2024 tournament for a total of €25m, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.

beIN SPORTS France will broadcast all 51 matches in the competition, including 26 exclusively for the tournament in Germany. The French private free-TV groups TF1 and M6 acquired the rights to broadcast 25 Euro 2024 matches free-to-air on 05/05/2022. These rights were obtained for a sum of €55m, whereas the two channels had paid €50m to share the free-to-air rights to Euro 2020 (23 matches out of 51), according to L'Équipe.

The TF1 group will broadcast 12 Euro 2024 matches on its channels, including the opening match between Germany and Scotland (Group A, Friday 14/06) as well as the matches between Austria and France (Group D, Monday 17/06) and France and Poland (Group D, Tuesday 25/06), while the M6 group will broadcast 13 matches, including the match between the…
