Roland-Garros 2024: sponsors & tennis bodies celebrate Carlos Alcaraz's 3^rd Grand Slam title

"Carlos, with his Babolat Pure Aero 98 in hand, becomes the youngest player in history to win a Grand Slam on all surfaces. The 30-year saga of success for Babolat racquets continues: it's the 39^th singles victory for a Babolat racquet in a major tournament," said Babolat on 09/10/2024.

The French tennis equipment manufacturer is celebrating the third Grand Slam title won by Carlos Alcaraz (21) at Roland-Garros 2024 (after the US Open 2022 and Wimbledon 2023). The Spanish tennis player claimed victory in the final versus Germany's Alexander Zverev (6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2). The title earned him €2.4m in prize money.

Nike (equipment manufacturer) has also celebrated the title won by the Spaniard, who has nearly 7 million followers on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok), by publishing a photo with the caption "Winning from ear to ear". BMW Spain (car manufacturer), Rolex (watchmakers), Isdin (sun cream) and Elpozo Alimentación (food) also paid tribute to their brand ambassador, as did tennis' governing bodies.
