FFF: possibility of separating a club's women's activities via a new company rejected

"Providing for the possibility of a club being made up of two sports companies: one dedicated to men's activities and the other to women's activities" was the provision put to the vote at the FFF's federal assembly in Clairefontaine (Yvelines) as part of the amendments to the body's general regulations, which was eventually rejected by 76.17% of the votes cast on 08/06/2024.

Initially included in a package of regulatory changes that were supposed to be put to a block vote, this addition to article 27 was eventually put to a separate vote after Pierre Ferracci, president of Paris FC (Ligue 2 BKT / D1 Arkema), who had already spoken on the subject during a federal assembly on 16/12/2023 when he contested the conditions under which the sale of OL Féminin (D1 Arkema) to the American Michele Kang had taken place.
