"RedBird (Capital Partners, the American fund that became Toulouse FC's majority shareholder in July 2020) puts incredible pressure on us to respect the budget. As frustrating and traumatic as that can be, it has made us extremely virtuous, because the work is done upstream of the transfer market. At the end of the day, we're proud of our virtuous business model, which makes money, which doesn't need to sell players, which never calls on its shareholder," said Damien Comolli, president of Toulouse FC (Ligue 1), on 12/06/2024.
