UEFA: Qatar Airways to sponsor men's national team competitions from Euro 2024 onwards

Qatari airline Qatar Airways has extended its sponsorship agreement with UEFA and become an "official partner" of all UEFA men's national team competitions, announced UEFA on 14/06/2024.

This renewed agreement begins with Euro 2024 (organised in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024). The group first signed up with UEFA as an official partner for Euro 2020 (played from 11/06 to 11/07/2021). In parallel with this agreement, Qatar Airways is launching a new air service to Hamburg (GER), one of the ten host cities of the competition.

The airline has also acquired the naming rights to the Premier Padel international circuit (launched in 2022 by the Qatari sovereign wealth fund Qatar Sports Investments) as part of a "multi-year agreement" from 2024, on 13/06/2024. The competition will be known as the "Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour", and its final phase (held in Barcelona in December 2024) will be known as the "Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals". The group will also become the tour's "official airline" and will work to "improve the travel experience for fans."
