Premier League: publication of the full calendar for the 2024-25 season (16/08/2024 to 25/05/2025)

The 2024-25 Premier League season will begin with Manchester United FC - Fulham FC on Friday 16/08 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET) and will end with 10 games on Matchday 38 scheduled for 16:00 (17:00 CET) on Sunday 25/05/2025, announced the English League on 18/06/2024.

Of the 38 matchdays (380 fixtures), four are scheduled midweek and one on a bank holiday, in the following order: Matchday 14 (Tuesday 03 and Wednesday 04/12/2024), Matchday 18 (Boxing Day, Thursday 26/12), Matchday 21 (Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15/01/2025), Matchday 27 (Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26/02) and Matchday 30 (Tuesday 01 and Wednesday 02/04).

"The mid-season break has been removed to allow a mid-August start for the Premier League, after this summer's European Championship. This later start allows players a consecutive three-week break after taking into account expert advice from medical and technical departments, which values a longer period of complete rest in the summer rather than a short break in the winter," explained the Premier League.
