MLS: a record attendance of 6.5 million spectators in June 2024, 725,000 more than in June 2023

• A record 6.5 million spectators at MLS franchise stadiums in June 2024, i.e. 725,000 more than in June 2023;
• a record, after four months (out of nine) of the regular season, of five matches attracting at least 60,000 people;
• a record, for the period, of six matches with more than 50,000 spectators in the stands;
• a record of 15 matches with more than 40,000 fans in the stadiums;
• 25 of the 29 franchises with a higher attendance average in June 2024 than in June 2023.

These are some of the attendance figures for the North American franchises since the start of the 2024 season, as communicated by Major League Soccer on 24/06/2024. The league reported a 13% increase in attendance in June 2024 compared with June 2023, a season that saw the MLS set a new attendance record.
