Borussia Dortmund: two friendlies to be played in Thailand & Japan during an Asia Tour in July 2024

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) will play a friendly against BG Pathum United (Thailand's 1^st division) in Bangkok (Thailand) on 21/07 and another against Cerezo Osaka (Meiji Yasuda J1 League) in Osaka (Japan) on 24/07 as part of its Asia Tour in July 2024, announced the club on 26/06/2024.

The German club's men's team will arrive in Thailand on 19/07, two days before their first match at the BG Stadium (15,100 capacity, located in Thanyaburi, a suburb of Bangkok). BVB will then travel to Japan on 22/07, where they will play their second friendly at the Nagai Stadium (Osaka, 47,800 capacity), before returning to Germany on 25/07/2024.

Borussia Dortmund, finalists in the 2023-24 Champions League, have a permanent presence on the Asian continent through two offices: in Singapore (inaugurated in 2014) and in Shanghai (China, opened in 2017).
