Real Betis Balompié: €14.6m raised in the second round of financing for the club's capital increase

Real Betis Balompié (LALIGA EA Sports) have received a total of €14.6m from 408 shareholders in the second phase of its capital increase, announced the club on 27/06/2024.

Together with the €20.5m recieved in the first round, this €14.6m brings the company's capital increase to €35.1m, or 81.8% of the €42.9m target, via the issue of 117,500 new shares at a price of €365.44. A third round will begin on 29/06. A notary's office has been set up at the Estadio Benito Villamarín to facilitate the administrative procedures for private individuals involved in the transaction.

"This capital increase is a key process for, firstly, balancing Real Betis Balompié's financial situation, burdened by the losses of the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22, years in which the stadiums remained totally or partially closed.
